Nice PR photos of the villagers with shotguns.
Does it strike anyone else odd that the two countries
appear ready to fight over a temple?
Kill for peace?
shame,, thai claimed to have the most powerful army in Southeast Asia, yet they arm and drill civilian for this dispute,,, Cambodian troop need to be aware of this political agenda/propaganda. More than likely this type of armament tend to set a trap for the opposing army to shoot civilian and thailand will cry to the global community that the cambodian army deliberately kill civilian in this conflict. Cambodian please dont’ put your people in harm way like the thai, evacuate the cambodian living around there and stand up and face thai army with military personnel if and only if diplomacy fail and you have no choice but to go to war.
Note: Thai will lost more than they are bargaining for if cambodia successfully reach diplomacy with the international community. This is why thai don’t want the UN to intervene. I appraised Cambodia for going to UN council, The ASEAN has told cambodia to go back to the table and talk with thai, where cambodia see no point because both country national interests are different. Cambodia need someone that can handle the dispute and resolve the issue with Thailand once and for all. ASEAN is too weak to do this at this moment. Going to the UN is the only way Cambodian can force Thai to consider what consequences they are facing for their action. Advice to the Thai, back off or you will be losing more than preah vihear disputed land,,
